Featured Stay: Mountain Cabin Adventures

My latest featured stay was incredible! We were hosted by Mountain Cabin Adventures at their beautiful property down in Woodland Springs, Colorado.

For anyone who thinks that a cabin getaway means sacrificing modern comfort, this place will prove you wrong! Heated floors, motion activated external lights, a private cedar sauna, hot tub, firepit, pizza oven, smart TVs, and indoor remote controlled fireplace are just a few of the things that make this the perfect place for a staycation! What other cabin boasts a year round sauna right on their deck to enjoy? An absolute luxury!

The proximity of this cabin to Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, and Woodland Park makes it a great homebase for adventure. Check out the hike up Bald Mountain for incredible views, or when the road is open drive up to the top of Pikes Peak! One of the few fourteeners you can drive up rather than hike up. Woodland Park is an adorable town, and your hosts provide a guidebook on the best local places to eat and things to do.

This cabin is pet friendly and has a lot of fun games and activities for kids as well! There is a record room complete with music, photo booth props, and more games! This place comfortably sleeps 6, with an additional pullout couch to be used as well for larger groups. Kenai loved exploring the cabins and the wraparound porch gives you the incredible feeling of being immersed in the forest.

There are tons of Aspen trees here, so I bet this place is INCREDIBLE in the fall when the aspens show off their beautiful golden color. The patio lights make the outside space inviting, and the modern touches assure that even those a little less comfortable in nature will feel right at home here. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also a grill and firepit out back. You can play cornhole in the summertime, or cozy up inside by the fire in the colder months.

There are homey touches throughout the space, making you feel welcome around every corner. Our hosts even had some snacks, coffee and tea for us to enjoy during our stay.

Mountain Cabin Adventures has other locations around the state, and I have even heard there are some A frame cabins under construction coming soon! So go check them out here and book your stay today!
